Rather than focusing on stimulation and social atmosphere, as many alcohol brands do, Stiene shifts attention to the drinker. It considers drinking pace, self-awareness, and the relationship between the individual and the drink.
The bottle uses thermochromic materials, with visuals that change as the liquid warms, subtly indicating the passage of time between sips. Products with different alcohol levels are distinguished through varied label information, encouraging a brief moment of awareness before drinking. The packaging becomes a carrier of the brand’s attitude. Restrained, clear-headed, and without being didactic.
This was a collaborative project. I was responsible for bottle modelling, structural exploration, and part of the visual prototyping, as well as animation design for the advertising.
