Project 1

Sound is not just sound

2023

This project requires designers to break through the limitations of traditional maps by observing the surrounding environment of Russell Square and creating a psychological geographical map.

Through observations of the tactile paths around Russell Square and the operation of assistance systems for visually impaired individuals at transportation points, I have identified my research focus as the contradiction between the survival of visually impaired individuals and the overly developed environment. I have designed an auxiliary underground voice navigation device that allows visually impaired individuals to travel with dignity and freedom. Additionally, I have created some improved versions of TFL maps.

Project 2

That sheet of water

2023

In this project, designers are required to wholeheartedly engage in creating a flag for a specific region that represents a place of your interest or passion, which can be abstract or unrecognized.
I choose to design a flag made from biodegradable materials that is interactive and capable of producing sound for transboundary water regions worldwide. I will study into the production techniques of bio-materials while reflecting on whether the management policies enacted by neutral institutions for these watersheds are appropriate.

Additionally, I will explore the ecological threats posed by the desires of administrators to these watersheds.
